• 500 Gms minced turkey
  • 500 Gms minced pork
  • 3 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 4 cloves of garlic finely minced
  • 1 heaped tbsp of finely chopped fresh sage
  • 1 tbsp of fresh thyme finely chopped
  • Big pinch of salt/black pepper



  1. Mix all of the ingredients together thoroughly in a bowl.
  2. Divide into 16 small (golf ball-sized) portions or 6 larger (tennis ball-sized to make big burgers) portions (tip: keep a bowl of cold water for dipping your hands in as it stops the mixture from sticking).
  3. Cook on a medium heat BBQ for approx. 6 minutes until cooked through (for smaller burger sizes) or 10-12 minutes for larger burgers.
  4. Serve on toasted brioche bun with tomato relish and scrambled eggs.
