Grilled Sahara Honey Mustard Chicken

This simple BBQ recipe features juicy grilled chicken breast, glazed with a delightful honey mustard sauce. It’s a mouthwatering dish bursting with vibrant, tangy-sweet taste, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. Just pair up with Sticky rice or else a vibrant salad..

What you Need

  • 2 lbs. Chicken Breast
  • 1/3 cup Mustard (your preference)
  • 2-3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

What to Do

  1. Start by placing the chicken breast in a large Ziploc bag and use a fork to puncture the chicken breasts with holes to absorb the marinade.
  2. In a small bowl, combine your mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, whisking until smooth and well blended.
  3. Pour half of the honey mustard marinade into the bag with the chicken, reserving the rest for later use.
  4. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator (or even overnight)
  5. Preheat your Sahar grill to high heat.
  6. Once hot lower the grills to medium heat and carefully place the chicken on the clean grill.
  7. Grill the chicken for 3-5 minutes per side, adjusting the time based on the thickness of the breast.
  8. After flipping the chicken once, generously brush the remaining honey mustard sauce all over it. Once fully cooked, brush on a second coat of sauce to ensure every bite is bursting with flavour.
  9. Use a thermomotor to make sure the Chicken is cooked through completely.
  10. Before slicing, allow the chicken to rest for several minutes to retain its juiciness.
