Chicken Rubs

Your “Go To” chicken Rub

  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of paprika
  • 3 tablespoons of black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons of celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Your sweet Dry Rub

  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar, light or dark
  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika 
  • 2 teaspoons of roasted garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ground dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili or cayenne pepper

The BBQ Coffee Rub

  • 1/4 cup of finely ground coffee
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coco powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of coarse salt

  • 1 tablespoon of mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar

The Essential Pork Rub

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar, tightly packed
  • 2 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of mustard powder
  • 1 tablespoon of kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Italian Seasoning Recipe 

An easy recipe for homemade Italian Seasoning. If you don’t have the store-bought blend on hand, you can easily make your own! If you’re missing one of the ingredients, just leave it out. 

  • 2 tablespoons dried basil 
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried rosemary 
  • 2 tablespoons dried thyme 
  • 2 tablespoons dried marjoram  

 

For each of these BBQ rubs, simply combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. They can be batch-made and stored in an airtight container for up to three months.
