For The Burgers:

  • 1kg lean minced beef
  • Large handful of panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 2 tsp of onion powder
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp of sesame oil
  • ½ tsp of ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt & pepper
  • 1 beaten egg

For the sriracha mayo:

  • 4 tbsp of mayo
  • 4 tsp of sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard

For the Asian slaw:

  • Shredded red & white cabbage
  • Chopped fresh coriander
  • Finely sliced bunch of spring onions
  • Sriracha mayo



  1. Mix the burger ingredients together in a bowl and divide into 6 tennis ball or 16 golf ball sized balls depending on your requirements.
  2. Mix 4 tbsp of mayo with 4 tsp of sriracha sauce (to your desired taste). Add 1 large tbsp of Dijon mustard.
  3. Mix the shredded red & white cabbage with some chopped fresh coriander and a finely sliced bunch of spring onions. Add some sriracha mayo.

To Cook:
Move between the high heat and low heat on the BBQ until cooked to medium or your preferred temperature.

To Serve:
6 brioche burger buns or 16 small slider style burger buns.
